KWC Sig Sauer 226 Review- By Smokey

The P-226 is commonly used by the FBI, Navy S.E.A.L and the Green Berets. It was first adopted by the FBI due to it's combat size and usefullness in the field.  Also, it  replaced the Browning Hi-Power in the SAS. After several Berretta M92f chamber blowouts or "KB's", one which sent a piece of the slide through the face of a SEAL operator, the United States Navy SEALS and Army Special Forces, also known as "Green Berets", adopted the P-226 for use in USSOCOM by Special Operations Units and for "Special Operations Peculiar Applications" with a wet suppressor and an extended threaded barrel.

The real steal Sig Sauer P-226 was first introduced in 1983 and manufactured in the Federal Republic of Germany.  The P-226 was originally chambered the 9mm Luger and rated for NATO 9mm, Parabellum P+ ammunition. The P-226 includes all the features and characteristics of the "classic" SIG Sauer hand guns. The patented 4-point safety system with an Automatic Firing-pin Lock, a frame mounted Decocking Lever, a Safety Intercept Notch and a Trigger Bar Disconnector.

Real Steel Sig 226

The KWC Sig P-226 is the most amazing non-Tokyo Mauri spring pistol I have ever used .  This gun is accurate!  Even with .12g bbs!(it uses .2g) When Weasel tried to shoot a can from 20 feet away it hit 13 out of 14 times, when the HFC USP hit it 3 out of 14 times. (not to compare both guns in any way) It is noted that the HFC USP has hardly any hop-up. When I tested it out on a target it shot basically in the 8pt. region, from 10 feet back. This may be due to my bad marksmanship, but who knows? It was basically in the black region.  The Sig P-226 is an amazingly accurate gun, it  dominated in springer wars. It has just the right feeling and grip, plus it's just the right size.  You can see the results of the target down below.

Results of the Test

I have owned tons of springers before, but this one truly is the best.  It has a great look to it.  Plus, it has just the right feel and shape. It has a "quick loadable" mag, which loads 12 bb's in a breeze. Now I admit this, mag is tricky to use at first, but after you catch on, it makes loading bb's easy.  This gun is mostly made up of ABS plastic, so it feels pretty light, but I'm not too picky on the weight of the gun.  Another great thing about it is that it has full trademarks, authorized by Sig Arms themselves. Now there is a downside to the gun.  On the opposite side of the trademarks it has a warning message carved in, similar to the one's that Daisy puts on their M9 airsoft springers. I imagine this could easily be removed with paint, but I have not tried yet.  Overall this is a great gun. You owe it to yourself to get it. Cheap, and overall the best spring pistol i've ever owned.  It may not be as good as a Tokyo Marui, but it is still a great gun to have.  Very detailed trademarks and great hopup. I'm going to use this gun for a long time.
